Equipment for vessel Piana

"Brodosplit" is performing newbuilding of the "ro-pax" vessel "Piana" for the French shipowner "Le Meridionale". After sailing test the vessel has arrived to the town port in Split for testing of quarter ramp fabricated in Radež.

Radež also fabricated other Ro-Ro equipment components as garage doors,bulkhead doors, ramp cover and other accordingly with the Cargotec (MacGregor)project.

Also all watertight doors, manual and hydraulic and welded mooring elements were fabricated in Radež accordingly with our own project.

The vessel is intended for passengers and vehicles and will connect Marseilles and Bastia on Corsica. It's 180 m long and 30,5 m wide with 23.9 knots speed. The total value of the vessel is 1,1 billion kunas and it's therefore the most expensive newbuilding ever performed in "Brodoplit".
