First serie windmill's columns delivered

Windmills columns on the way

Last year Radež took a step out from the shipbuilding industry and started fabrication of columns for windmills. Namely, fabrication of windmill columns was contracted with the company Končar from Zagreb.

This new fabrication required investments in new machines, in the facilities as also new production-technological processes and education of workers for the new operations which are characteristics for this project. The project itself was developed by Končar for the electric-energetic field of Pomet hill near Split.
The transport of column segments from Radež to it's final destination is quite complicated and is partly performed by trucks and partly with barge by sea.
