A new passanger tourist ship

During this year 3 ships have been launched for nautical tourism in Radež and by the end of the year launching of still two more newbuildings are expected. The latest launching was performed Tuesday, November 8th, when the vessel with working title Nb. 23 was launched for the company “Naranča brodarstvo” d.o.o from Krilo Jesenice.

The ship’s name will be Futura II and the exploitation will mainly take place between Middle Adriatic ie. between two tourist centers of Split and Dubrovnik.

The ship is nearly 50 meters long and 8.75 meters wide with 19 cabins and can accommodate 36 passengers served by 10 crew members. The ship has 2 Volvo main engines, power 2 x 500 hp and also a bow thruster has been assembled for easier maneuvering especially during berthing.

The ship is classified as a passenger ship and built according to the regulations and under the supervision of the Croatian Register of Shipping.
