At the end of January, a reconstructed bow ramp for Jadrolinija's ferry Oliver was shipped from Radež to the Viktor Lenac shipyard. Due to the need to increase the reach of the ramp, it was necessary to install a new segment and upgrade the existing one.
The old segment had to be adapted in order to install a new segment that folds under the existing one during navigation. It was also necessary to install an additional hydraulic system for cleating, folding, i.e., opening of the ramp it after docking.
This operation increased the operational length of the bow ramp by a little more than 4 m, which will simplify and thus speed up the maneuvering of the ship during docking and leaving the pier.
